Have you found a kitty that needs a home?
PURRfect Partners offers a service to the community to "show" stray or abandoned kitties from
your neighborhood. If you have found an adoptable cat with no owner, and are able to care for him or her until they find
a home, we are here as a resource to provide advice and various types of support, including showing your cat at our adoption center.
Cats may be
shown at our adoption center at Centinela Feed in Redondo Beach during our adoption
hours, and/or listed on our website. We hold adoptions from 12:00 p.m.
to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
These cats must meet
certain medical requirements in order to be shown at our adoption center, and showing is dependent on space availability.
Cats must be spayed or neutered and be up to date on vaccines. They must also have been tested
for FIV and Feline Leukemia, and been treated for fleas and worms. To be listed on our website, we ask for a photo and short bio as well.
Planning a Trust for Your Pet
Over the years, cats have been surrendered to us because their caregiver has passed away, and there is no one in the person's family who can take in the cat.
Planning a trust for your pets can help to ensure that they're cared for in the event that something happens to you. A pet trust is a legally binding document
in which you designate a caregiver who will take care of your pet and a trustee who will manage assets in the trust and use them for the benefit of your pet,
including paying the caregiver and other expenses. For more details, please review the pet trust planning brochure below. It includes information on choosing a caregiver,
funding the trust and advice on how much money should be put in.
