| Snickers, Babe, and Heath were rescued from Columbia Park. Some nice elderly people had
been feeding them since they were born from a feral mama. Snickers is the most outgoing of the three, but all are very
gentle and sweet. They are somewhat shy so they probably wouldn't be a good match for kids. Snickers and Babe have
medium to long fur. Heath is shorthaired but looks very much like his siblings. Heath is the shyest. Heath and Snickers are often snuggled together.If you are thinking of adopting two cats, Heath and Snickers will be a good pair. BD 6/01/08 UPDATE: Babe adopted 12/27/08. 1/08/09 update from a volunteer who has been spending extra time: Heath- He is so sweet & shy. He's still a little skittish and gets spooked easily with loud noises. He just started purring this week when being petted. He likes the top of his head and chin rubbed and scratched. You just have to be really gentle w/ him and no quick moves. I'm also still trying to get him to play with toys, he's liking the feathers on a stick. I'm trying to pet him as much as possible to get him used to people touching him. He has the softest coat. |
